Historic Rangers FC Moments
Rangers have amassed more league titles than any other football club in the world, claiming the Scottish top-flight crown over 50 times. Their dominance began early, with a run of title wins in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and continued throughout the decades. Particularly notable was the nine-in-a-row era from 1988 to 1997, when Rangers equalled Celtic's record of consecutive league titles.
The club has also enjoyed considerable success in domestic cup competitions, securing over 30 Scottish Cup victories and numerous League Cup triumphs. European recognition came with their victory in the 1972 European Cup Winners’ Cup, when Rangers defeated Dynamo Moscow in Barcelona in front of thousands of travelling fans—marking a landmark moment in their history.
